About us
Al-Itqan Community Centre Ltd
Serving Faith. Building Community. Establishing Legacy.
Al-Itqan Community Centre Ltd is a community-led Islamic organisation committed to worship, education, and community development in Narre Warren South and surrounding suburbs of Victoria, Australia.
For years, Muslim families in this growing region have travelled outside their suburb for daily prayers, Jumuʿah, Islamic education, and youth programs. Today, Al-Itqan is leading the effort to establish the first mosque in Narre Warren South — a long-awaited milestone for the local community.
Why Narre Warren South?
According to the Australian Bureau of Statistics (ABS) 2021 Census, the City of Casey is home to tens of thousands of Muslim residents.
Suburbs including Narre Warren South, Narre Warren, Berwick, Hampton Park, Lynbrook, Pakenham, and Officer continue to grow rapidly.
Despite this, Narre Warren South has never had its own mosque.
This project fills that long-standing gap.
